Helping loved ones with the Bach flowers is always something we hope to do after knowing how much they’ve helped us.
In this case, it’s not our own healing that we seek it’s our loved one’s, therefore it’s important to give freedom, as only they can be the captain of their ship.
Once we know the remedies well and use them confidently, we may begin to see how they can help our loved ones too.
Sometimes loved ones don’t want the help, don’t believe they need it, or are adamant they can handle it on their own, and it’s important to allow them the space, time, and respect to do that.
They themselves are on their own journey to healing and we can only allow them the freedom they deserve to follow their own unique path, in their own time.
Dr Bach emphasises in his book Heal Thyself:
“We must not expect others to do what we want, their ideas are the right ideas for them, and though their pathway may lead in a different direction from ours, the goal at the end of the journey is the same for us all.”
However, a great way to gently start the conversation and introduce them to natural emotional healing, is to encourage them to see a local Bach Practitioner, who can gently talk them through what the remedies are and how they can help.
By doing this it allows the loved one to talk and listen to someone new, outside of their own circle, who can stand as a neutral party, and create a safe environment to open up. A Professional can allow us to feel seen, heard and validated without risk of reaction, judgement, bias, or pressure to conform.
This objectivity can really help to offer a new perspective, allowing them to be listened to without agenda, control, or emotional persuasion, and in turn lead them on to beginning their personal journey to healing.
As Dr Bach emphasises in his book Free Thyself:
“We are set free if we set others free, for it is only by example we can teach.”
